What’s this all about?

I don’t know about you but I’m always finding my wallet and pockets are a bit empty and my bank account on the low side.  There are only two ways to remedy that.  Make more money and save more!

There are a ton of get-rich-quick schemes – most of them are scams.  But not all.  Actually, those that aren’t scams are more like get-rich-eventually schemes.  If you have the patience and a strong work ethic then those can pay off.  Most work-at-home deals are great to help bring in some extra cash in a pinch or to boost up that savings account for a short-term goal but they aren’t something you’ll want to do for very long.

The other way to pad that savings account is to save more money.  And, of course, that means you’ll need to spend less.  The most important step of that is to find out where all your money is currently going and to devise a budget.  Ack!  There it is!  That ”B” word!  Budgeting scares a lot of people but it really isn’t that big of a deal.  Another step in saving money is to trim spending in areas like groceries, toiletries, eating out and clothing.

I know that I’m not alone in this journey.  In fact, I have found a lot of resources online that have helped me to boost my income and cut my spending.  The internet is a great big place – let’s work together to share sites, tips, ideas and good ol’ common sense!
